Job Title: Senior Executive – Accounts

Location: Vaikom, Kerala

Reporting To: Director – Corporate Affairs / Chief Accountant

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Executive – Accounts to join our finance team in Kerala. The role focuses mainly on accounts payables, ensuring smooth financial operations, compliance, and accurate reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, hands-on experience with Tally ERP, and a proven background in financial reporting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
  • Handle company transactions, reconciliations, and timely financial closing.
  • Maintain records of vendors, creditors, petty cash, and sales accounts.
  • Prepare projected cash flows and manage banking operations.
  • Assist with IT returns, refunds, assessments, and GST filings (GSTR 1, 3B).
  • Ensure compliance with PF, ESI, payroll processing, and statutory filings.
  • Maintain asset records and ensure accurate financial documentation.
  • Support internal and external audits, tax queries, and compliance requirements.
  • Manage payments (NEFT, RTGS, cash, cheques) and reconcile online transactions.
  • Prepare MIS reports and financial summaries for management.
  • Liaise with banks, auditors, tax agents, and external partners.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Bachelor's/Master's in Accounting (CA Inter/IPCC – ICAI preferred).
  • Experience in dairy/food industries or B2C commerce preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP and MS Office (Excel – VLOOKUP, Pivot tables).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial reporting skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Languages: English (required); Malayalam/Tamil (preferred).
  • Note: Male candidates are preferred for this role.
