Summary

GE HealthCare is looking for a talented and motivated Sr Technical Product Manager to join our Advanced Visualization team. This team develops core services that enable our products to run cutting-edge medical applications. As a Sr Technical Product Manager, you will work with the team and deliver a clear and descriptive set of requirements to enable the delivery of product features and functionality. Youll drive the strategic direction and delivery of backend and integrated features, ensuring alignment across stakeholders and technical feasibility. The role demands strong technical expertise, agile leadership, and the ability to translate complex needs into actionable development tasks.

In this role, you will:

  • Interact with customers/stakeholders in requirements-gathering, fine-tuning, and obtaining product feedback.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver features and products.
  • Show increasing understanding of the technology stack and its impact on the final product.
  • Routinely collaborate with UX Design to know customers and understand behaviors.
  • Conduct customer and stakeholder interviews and elaborate on personas.
  • Demonstrate ability to influence customers and product managers through persuasion and influencing.
  • Collaborate with PM for the release and sprint backlogs short-term roadmap for MVPs and quarterly releases.
  • Own and manage the backlog; continuously order and prioritize to ensure that 1-2 sprints/iterations of backlog are always ready.
  • Prioritize continuously in accordance with the understanding and validation of customer problems and needs.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers/TPMs to decompose features into consumable user stories.
  • Translate unstructured or ambiguous work requests into actionable user stories and work units.
  • Partner with Service Owners/Development Managers to ensure a healthy development process.
  • Apply Agile Methodology.
Education Qualification
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or in STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math)
Desired Characteristics
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and managing product backlogs.
  • Ability to prioritize features based on business value and technical feasibility.
  • Solid understanding of backend systems, APIs, microservices, and architecture designs.
  • Good knowledge of Linux system.
  • Good knowledge of source code and artifact repositories (Git, GitHub, GitLab, and/or similar tools).
  • Strong experience in Java language and experience/open to using others like Python, C , Go.
  • Software Engineering background, with experience in writing code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with engineering teams and understand technical constraints.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Experience in managing expectations and aligning stakeholders on product goals.
  • Strong analytical mindset to assess feature impact, dependencies, and risks.
  • Familiar with containerization and Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Able to work under minimal supervision and open to collaboration.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
