Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai for a PS Core & CS Core Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for operations, troubleshooting, and optimizing network performance for Packet-Switched and Circuit-Switched cores. Daily tasks include configuring, monitoring, and maintaining telecom infrastructure to ensure efficient and uninterrupted network operations. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and ensuring compliance with performance and security standards will be key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of PS Core (SGSN, GGSN, EPC) and CS Core (MSC, HLR, VLR)
  • Experience in network configuration, integration, and optimization
  • Hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for telecom networks
  • Understanding of major vendor products such as Ericsson, Huawei, ZTE, or Nokia
  • Experience with telecom protocols and standards (e.g., SS7, SIGTRAN, SIP, Diameter)
  • Proficiency in performance monitoring tools and network analytics
  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
  • Certification in networking (such as CCNA or equivalents) is a plus
