About the Role

We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as
Data Protection Engineers
. This role is suitable for recent graduates or professionals with up to 2 years of experience, who have knowledge or hands-on exposure to leading backup solutions such as
Veeam, Commvault, or Cohesity
.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support deployment, configuration, and management of backup and recovery solutions.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot backup/restore jobs on a daily basis.
  • Assist in performing file-level, VM-level, and application-level recoveries.
  • Participate in Proof of Concepts, migration activities, and upgrade projects.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of processes, troubleshooting steps, and best practices.
  • Work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams for issue resolution.

Required Skills

  • Basic understanding of Backup & Recovery Technologies.
  • Familiarity with Windows/Linux servers and Virtualization Platforms (VMware/Hyper-V/Nutanix).
  • Knowledge of storage concepts (SAN/NAS, snapshots, replication) is an advantage.
  • Exposure to Veeam, Commvault, or Cohesity preferred.
  • Good problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Eligibility

  • B.E./B.Tech/MCA/BSC or equivalent degree.
  • 0–2 years of experience in IT Infrastructure or Backup/Data Protection domain.
  • Freshers with relevant certifications or internships are welcome.
