Role & responsibilities:

  • Perform daily NetSuite administrative tasks including user setup, role and permission management, workflows, saved searches, dashboards, and system configurations.
  • Maintain system integrity and data quality through regular audits and monitoring.
  • Manage sandbox refreshes, release testing, and system upgrades.

    Troubleshoot system errors and user issues; escalate to NetSuite support or consultants when needed.
  • Configure and maintain custom fields, records, scripts, and workflows (in collaboration with developers as needed).
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and implement process improvements or enhancements in NetSuite.
  • Document system configurations, processes, and procedures.

  • Optimizing system usage for:

  • Journal entries

  • Accounts receivable/payable
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Financial reporting (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of financial reports and dashboards.
  • Ensure system configuration aligns with GAAP and internal controls.
  • Support audit and month-end/quarter-end processes from a systems perspective.

Preferred candidate profile:

  • 3+ years of experience as a NetSuite Administrator or similar ERP system administrator role.
  • Solid understanding of core accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Experience working with or supporting Finance and Accounting teams.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite financial modules (GL, AR, AP, Bank Reconciliation, Fixed Assets, etc.).
  • Experience with SuiteAnalytics, SuiteFlow, and SuiteScript.
  • Strong skills in saved searches, workflows, dashboards, and basic SuiteScript.
  • Strong understanding of NetSuite's core modules, including ERP, CRM, and eCommerce.
  • Demonstrated ability to write, debug, and deploy SuiteScripts (client, user event, scheduled, map/reduce).
  • Conduct data analysis and integrity checks to ensure data accuracy across the platform.
  • Monitor system performance and conduct regular health checks to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Perform regular system maintenance, including user and role management, data imports/exports, and system updates.

Other Preffered Skills:

  • NetSuite Administrator Certification and NetSuite Financial User Certification.
  • Lead or participate in the implementation of new NetSuite modules and features.
  • Background in IT Business Financial Analytics.
  • Experience supporting financial audits or system-driven reconciliations.
  • Develop and deliver training materials and sessions to end-users to promote effective use of the system.
