Product Development & Planning
Coordinate with designers and product development teams to create seasonal collections.
- Develop product range plans in line with brand identity and market needs.
Analyze past sales trends and forecast future product demand.
Sourcing & Vendor Management
Source fabrics, trims, and accessories from local and international suppliers.
- Negotiate costs, lead times, and delivery schedules with vendors and manufacturers.
Monitor production processes to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
Order Management
Handle buyer communications, order processing, and follow-up from sampling to final shipment.
- Monitor production status and resolve any issues or delays in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and buyer specifications.
Market & Trend Analysis
Stay up-to-date with global fashion trends, seasonal colors, and consumer preferences.
Conduct competitor analysis to inform design and pricing strategies.
Documentation & Reporting
Prepare costing sheets, tech packs, time & action (T&A) calendars.
- Maintain accurate records of orders, samples, and correspondence
Skills & Qualifications Required:
- Degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Merchandising, or International Business.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal), especially for dealing with overseas clients.
- Good understanding of garment, textiles, and production processes.
