The role supports large-scale data ingestion, transformation, and analytics workloads on AWS for clients across finance, retail, and SaaS domains. On-site role located in India.

Primary Job Title: AWS Data Engineer (On-site, India)

Role & Responsibilities
  • Design, build and operate scalable ETL/ELT pipelines on AWS to ingest, transform, and deliver analytical datasets for reporting and ML use-cases.
  • Author and optimise Spark-based jobs (PySpark) and AWS Glue ETL to process large, structured and semi-structured data with reliable performance and cost control.
  • Implement and maintain data storage and query architectures using S3, Redshift, and query services (e.g., Athena) to meet SLAs for latency and concurrency.
  • Collaborate with data architects and analysts to translate business requirements into data models, partitioning strategies, and lifecycle policies.
  • Build observability and automation: CI/CD for data pipelines, automated deployments, monitoring, alerting, and cost-optimisation practices.
  • Perform data validation, troubleshooting, and performance tuning; document designs, runbooks, and best-practice playbooks.
