Job Title: ServiceNow SAM/HAM Technical Consultant

Location: Remote

Experience Level: 7+ years preferred

Working Hours : 8:30 PM to 4:30 AM IST

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive ServiceNow Technical Consultant with hands-on experience in implementing ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM) modules. This role is critical to the success of our customers IT asset management transformation and requires a blend of technical expertise, process understanding, and strong customer engagement skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end implementation of ServiceNow SAM and HAM modules
  • Conduct stakeholder workshops to gather business and technical requirements
  • Design and develop data templates for asset onboarding and normalization
  • Build and configure integrations with external systems (e.g., SCCM, JAMF, Intune, procurement tools)
  • Customize workflows, business rules, and UI policies to align with customer needs
  • Perform data analysis, cleansing, and migration activities
  • Provide technical documentation and user training
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, IT operations, and finance
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the customer, managing expectations and ensuring successful delivery

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience implementing ServiceNow SAM and HAM modules
  • Strong understanding of IT asset lifecycle management and licensing models
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript), Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub
  • Experience with data gathering, template creation, and normalization techniques
  • Familiarity with CMDB, Discovery, and third-party data sources
  • Excellent communication and customer handling skills
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (SAM or HAM) is a plus
