Job Title:
IFS Developer

Position Summary:

The IFS Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining customizations, integrations, and extensions within IFS Applications 10 and IFS Cloud. This role requires strong expertise in IFS development tools, SQL, PL/SQL, and integration frameworks to enhance ERP functionalities, improve system performance, and support business processes. The developer will work closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and IT teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain custom enumerations, custom fields, custom logical units, custom events, quick reports, configurations, and workflows within IFS Apps 10 and IFS Cloud.
• Customize IFS Enterprise Explorer (IEE) and Aurena to meet business requirements.
• Design and develop custom IFS reports, dashboards, and data exports using Crystal Reports, Quick Reports, and IFS Lobbies.
• Enhance IFS UI/UX by modifying page layouts and user interactions using Base Profiles.
• Develop and maintain REST/SOAP web services for integrating IFS with third-party applications.
• Utilize IFS Connect, BizAPI, and IFS Data Migration Tools for seamless data exchange.
• Implement data replication, event-driven integrations, and batch processing between IFS and external systems.
• Ensure API security and performance optimization in multi-system environments.
• Write and optimize SQL and PL/SQL scripts for custom reports, queries, and stored procedures.
• Conduct performance tuning and debugging to improve query execution times.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks in IFS.
• Work with IFS support teams and internal IT teams to troubleshoot system errors and failures.
• Assist with system upgrades, patches, and new feature deployments.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions, APIs, and integrations.
• Ensure adherence to IFS development standards, coding best practices, and security policies.
• Support audit and compliance requirements related to system customizations and data integrity.
• Assist the Validation Team with the creation and running of any Validation Protocol required for the promotion of changes to the Production Environment.

Qualifications:

• Experience
  : 4+ years in IFS ERP development, with expertise in Apps 10 and IFS Cloud.
• IFS Development Tools
  : Experience with IFS Developer Studio, IFS SQL, and PL/SQL scripting.
• Integration Skills:
  Hands-on experience with REST APIs, SOAP services, IFS Connect, and BizAPIs.
• Database Expertise
  : Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning techniques.
• Technical Problem-Solving:
  Ability to troubleshoot IFS configurations, customizations, and integrations.
• IFS UI/UX Customization:
  Experience modifying Aurena and Enterprise Explorer (IEE) interfaces using Base Profiles.
• ERP Implementation Knowledge:
  Understanding of IFS modules (Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, HR, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

• IFS Cloud migration experience.
• Experience with automation tools like IFS Streams and Events.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, .NET, or Python for scripting enhancements.
• Familiarity with Cloud services (Azure, AWS) and DevOps pipelines.
• Certifications in IFS ERP, Oracle PL/SQL, or related fields.
