Job Summary
The Yoga Trainer will be responsible for leading group and individual yoga classes, creating personalized yoga programs, and providing mentorship to our clients. The ideal candidate will design and lead engaging yoga sessions for individuals and groups, catering to all skill levels. Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead group and individual yoga classes tailored to varying skill levels (beginner to advanced) with demonstration of proper techniques and guiding participants through postures safely.
- Develop personalized yoga programs to meet the fitness goals of individual members.
- Provide modifications and adjustments to clients as needed to promote a safe environment and prevent injuries.
- Encourage a holistic approach to health, emphasizing the connection between body, mind, and gut.
- Keep abreast of current yoga trends, techniques, certifications and workshops or additional training as needed.
Skills Required
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of teaching yoga, preferably in a fitness or wellness setting.
- Skills: Yoga Postures, anatomy, Instructional Skills, Class Planning, Client Assessment, Flexibility, excellent communication skills, Clarity of thoughts, a proactive attitude.
- Familiarity with office software (MS Office, Google Suite more importantly).
- Ability to connect with diverse groups of people.
- Ability to unlearn and relearn, ability to take and give constructive feedback.
Qualification
Candidates must have completed a certification course from a leading institution accredited by the Yoga Certification Board (YCB).
