The World Legal Regulatory Council (WLRC) is seeking a
Junior Legal Associate

Key Responsibilities

The Junior Legal Associate will be integral to the team, providing specialized support across all phases of regulatory compliance and dispute resolution.

  • Cyber & Financial Regulatory Analysis:
    Conduct high-level, in-depth research on
    IT Act amendments
    ,
    RBI/SEBI circulars
    , and
    international data privacy laws
    (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) to ensure client adherence.
  • Legal Drafting & Documentation:
    Take ownership of drafting specialized legal documents, including
    technology contracts
    , comprehensive regulatory compliance manuals, and high-stakes petitions for corporate disputes.
  • Case Strategy & Research:
    Perform detailed
    case law analysis
    and synthesize findings into actionable legal memos to support senior counsel in developing strategy for complex compliance and dispute resolution matters.
  • Compliance Framework Development:
    Participate in the creation, review, and refinement of
    compliance checklists
    and internal legal policies, focusing specifically on consumer protection and financial fraud laws for corporate clients.
  • Client Support & Professional Correspondence:
    Prepare for and attend high-level client discussions, accurately
    documenting client instructions
    , and drafting professional legal correspondence.
  • Strategic Growth Initiatives:
    Assist the management team with focused research and
    comparative analysis
    on emerging legal sectors for potential WLRC expansion.

Eligibility & Core Requirements

  • Strict Eligibility:
    Must be a
    recent law graduate
    (degree completed and conferred).
  • Specialized Focus:
    A strong academic record or demonstrated practical interest (via coursework, research, or prior internships) in
    Cyber Law
    ,
    Financial Law
    , or
    Regulatory Compliance
    is highly preferred.
  • Core Skills:
    Exceptional command of
    English and Hindi
    (both written and verbal) and mandatory
    analytical/research abilities
    .
  • Professional Integrity:
    Must be proactive, highly responsible, and fully committed to maintaining absolute professional integrity and confidentiality.
