We're looking for a
Senior Backend Developer
with
5+ years of experience
to join our growing tech team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building
scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems
while mentoring junior engineers and contributing to architectural decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using
    )

  • Design and optimize data models with
    PostgreSQL/ScyllaDB
    .
  • Build and manage
    microservices
    , authentication, and session management.
  • Handle deployment cycles across
    test, staging, and production
    .
  • Deploy, monitor, and scale backend services on
    AWS (EC2, ECS, SES, S3, CloudWatch, Elasticsearch)
    .
  • Collaborate with frontend teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Write
    clean, maintainable, and tested code
    in JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and optimize backend performance.
  • Mentor junior developers and guide backend architectural improvements.
  • Stay up to date with backend tech, cloud deployment, and security practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master's in
    Computer Science, Engineering
    , or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years
    in backend development with ).
  • Strong skills in
    JavaScript/TypeScript
    and
    async API design
    .
  • Experience with
    NoSQL databases
    (schema design, queries, performance tuning).
  • Proficiency with
    JWT/OAuth2 authentication
    .
  • Hands-on experience with
    Docker, CI/CD, and container orchestration
    .
  • Proficient in
    AWS cloud deployment
    and monitoring.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Familiar with
    Git, IaC, and secure coding practices

  • Experience in

  • Exposure to
    scalable deployments
    and AWS services.
  • Knowledge of
    CI/CD practices, automated testing, and cloud monitoring tools
