Key Responsibilities

Job Description:

  • Experience in Should Costing of Aerospace components for various commodities like Machining, Casting, Forging, Plastics, Sheetmetal etc…
  • Working experience in Manufacturing unit/ Shop floor (Mass/ batch production) on Mechanical components with good knowledge on various manufacturing processes.
  • Good in reading Drawing, Technical documents, GD&T in order to prepare estimates.
  • Professional in Process time calculation and providing cost break-ups for various manufacturing processes like Machining, Heat treatment, Chemical process, Surface treatment, Coatings, Metal joining techniques (Bolting, Welding, Riveting), NDT, Testing, Assembly etc…
  • Identify and quantify cost factors such as production time, materials and labor expenses factors.
  • Experience in Excel based Should costing is preferred and Exposure to Should costing tools is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge in various types of Raw material families and specifications.
  • Good oral / written communication skill, English proficiency, MS office proficiency
