Job Title: System Architect

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Provide an overview of the product architecture and offer technical leadership in the development of our AI-powered B2B platform.
  • Actively participate in making architecture decisions and contribute to our technology roadmap.
  • Assist in solving business problems by supporting the necessary platform infrastructure.
  • Serve as an expert in infrastructure, security, and technology stack, making informed decisions.
  • Stay up-to-date with current frameworks and have influence over backend technology choices.
  • Contribute to ideation and proposal creation for secure custom integrations and customer-facing solutions, and assist in their implementation.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to establish best practices and requirements for software development.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a strong sense of feature ownership, agility, and a desire for continuous learning.
  • Quickly and efficiently troubleshoot coding problems to ensure a productive workplace.
  • Maintain product architecture documentation, illustrations, and guidelines.
Candidate Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Systems.
  • Professional certification in Java and other programming languages is preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of professional software design and development experience with hands-on back-end implementation.
  • Experience with full-stack development using Java, NodeJS, and backend and frontend frameworks.
  • Proven experience in designing low-latency and highly scalable backend infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes or other open-source container orchestration systems.
  • Strong programming skills in designing and implementing multi-tier applications.
  • Experience in RESTful API & microservice design and development, as well as event-driven architecture.
  • Proficiency working in a Linux environment.
  • Strong software development fundamentals, architecture styles and patterns, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good understanding and experience with web applications, cybersecurity, and open-source technologies.
  • Exposure to vulnerability and penetration testing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Experience with creating architectural diagrams and design documentation using UML.
  • Experience overseeing product development with multiple ongoing projects concurrently.
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
  • Awareness of tools and techniques for achieving network security, data protection, and business continuity.
  • Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
  • Familiarity with YAML and Swagger.
  • A good sense of user experience.
