Role & responsibilities

  • Develop and optimise E2E tools, frameworks and processes to support and diagnose highly performant platforms driving real time exchange trading engines.
  • Configure and manage ManageEngine OpManager for network monitoring and performance management.
  • Implement and optimize Firewall Analyzer for comprehensive firewall monitoring and analysis.
  • Utilize NetFlow for detailed traffic analysis and bandwidth monitoring.
  • Manage Network Configuration Manager (NCM) for network device configuration and compliance management.
  • Support and configure CheckMK for comprehensive IT infrastructure monitoring.
  • Implement and manage Smarts for network fault and performance management.
  • Utilize NMMI for network monitoring and management.
  • Monitor network performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to enhance network reliability and security.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for network monitoring processes and configurations.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to ensure seamless integration of monitoring tools with existing systems.
  • Provide training and support to team members on the use of monitoring tools.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in network monitoring and security.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Preferred candidate profile

  • The strong understanding of Capital Markets and their technology challenges.
    • In-depth technical and design knowledge.
  • Ability to apply and direct technology innovation, automation, and support technologists to reduce MTTR of BTR incidents.
  • Able to manage a complete end to end customer experience, demonstrating mastery in the customers technology life cycle and business strategy.
  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong experience with NOC tools (CheckMK, OpManager, SolarWinds, Firewall Analyzer).
  • Solid understanding of Linux administration.
  • Knowledge of network protocols, SNMP, and API integrations.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably GCP (or AWS/Azure experience as a plus).
  • Scripting skills (Python, Bash) for automation.
    • Understanding of network protocols, firewall, routers and switches.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+, etc.) are a plus.
    • Ability to work within a fast paced, multi-tasking, team environment.
