Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. As an SRE, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, scalability, and reliability of our systems and services. You will work closely with development and operations teams to design, build, and maintain reliable infrastructure, automate processes, and improve overall system health.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability across distributed environments.
  • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment speed and reliability.
  • Automate operational tasks to reduce manual intervention and increase efficiency.
  • Implement observability best practices: logging, monitoring, tracing, and alerting.
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve software design for reliability and scalability.
  • Conduct incident response, root cause analysis, and post-mortem reviews.
  • Ensure systems meet security and compliance standards.
  • Capacity planning and performance tuning to optimize system efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a proven track record of delivering complex systems.
  • Deep expertise in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python).
  • Experience with cloud platforms and infrastructure (e.g., GCP).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence without authority.
