Club Steward

Job Summary:

The Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and organization within the lounge and bar area. This role supports bartenders and service staff by ensuring all glassware, cutlery, crockery, and bar tools are clean, polished, and readily available. The Steward plays a key role in maintaining smooth operations in a fast-paced, high-energy nightlife environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean, wash, and sanitize all glassware, bar tools, utensils, and equipment following hygiene standards.
• Assist bartenders in restocking liquor, garnishes, ice, and bar supplies throughout service hours.
• Maintain cleanliness of bar counters, shelves, service stations, and storage areas.
• Dispose of waste properly and manage segregation of recyclables.
• Support service staff by collecting used glassware and dishes from tables and returning them for cleaning.
• Ensure all cleaning schedules and checklists are followed as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Report any equipment malfunctions or breakages to the Bar Manager immediately.
• Follow all safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines as per company and local health standards.
• Assist in setting up and closing the bar area before and after operations.
• Maintain a professional, energetic, and team-oriented attitude to match the lounge's vibrant atmosphere.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Prior experience in a bar, nightclub, or high-volume restaurant preferred.
• Basic understanding of bar operations and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Physically fit to handle long hours of standing and lifting.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

A lively, high-energy lounge and bar setting with loud music, dim lighting, and a fast-paced service flow.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹16, ₹18,000.00 per month
