We are seeking a skilled and motivated Solar Technician to install, maintain, and repair solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for residential, commercial, or industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, hands-on installation experience, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, inspect, maintain, and repair solar PV systems.
  • Assemble solar panels, mounting systems, and inverters.
  • Read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Perform electrical wiring, conduit installation, and connection of solar components.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and perform diagnostics on underperforming systems.
  • Conduct routine maintenance, performance testing, and cleaning of solar panels.
  • Ensure systems comply with local and national electrical codes.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
  • Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or associate's degree in electrical or renewable energy preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in solar installation or electrical work.
  • Working knowledge of photovoltaic systems and components.
  • Understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with tools and equipment used in solar installation.
  • NABCEP certification (preferred but not required).
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in various outdoor conditions, including on rooftops.
