Aerospace Technician

Role Overview:
As an Aerospace Technician, you will be responsible for the assembly, installation, inspection, maintenance, and testing of aircraft systems, components, and structures. You will work closely with engineers and quality teams to ensure all work meets industry regulations, safety standards, and performance specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Assembly & Installation:
- Assemble aircraft components (mechanical, structural, or electrical) using hand and power tools
- Read and interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Install parts such as engines, landing gear, flight controls, and avionics systems
Testing & Inspection:
- Conduct routine tests on aerospace systems and materials to ensure functionality and safety
- Perform diagnostic checks and functional tests on systems like hydraulics, fuel, electrical, or avionics
- Identify and report non-conformances or technical issues during assembly or testing
Documentation & Compliance:
- Accurately complete maintenance logs, inspection records, and work reports
- Ensure compliance with FAA, EASA, AS9100, or relevant aerospace regulations
- Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Nice-to-Haves:
- FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant (A&P) certification
- Experience with composite materials, clean room assembly, or CNC equipment
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma practices
- Experience with MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) or flight test operations
