Job Description:

Position: Internal Auditor

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to join our team. As an Internal Auditor, you will evaluate and improve our company's internal controls, processes, and procedures. You will also play a key role in identifying potential risks and providing mitigation recommendations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auditing, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct internal audits of the company's processes, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with policies and regulations

- Identify potential risks and provide recommendations to mitigate them

- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and make suggestions for improvement

- Develop and maintain audit programs and testing procedures

- Prepare audit reports and present findings to management

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance and address any issues

- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory requirements

- Participate in special projects or investigations as needed

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or other relevant certification is preferred

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in internal auditing or a related field

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal control frameworks

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and audit software
