Job Summary

As a Sr. Developer you will play a critical role in designing developing and implementing data integration solutions using ETL tools and technologies. You will work in a hybrid model collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow and integration. Your expertise in PL/SQL Talend and Unix Shell Scripting will be essential in optimizing data processes and enhancing business intelligence capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement ETL processes using Talend ETL to ensure efficient data integration and transformation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for data warehousing projects.
  • Utilize PL/SQL to write complex queries and optimize database performance for data-driven applications.
  • Administer Talend Administration Centre to manage and monitor ETL jobs and workflows.
  • Design and maintain data integration solutions to support business intelligence and reporting needs.
  • Implement scheduling basics to automate ETL processes and ensure timely data availability.
  • Use Unix Shell Scripting to automate routine tasks and enhance system efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ETL processes and data integration.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing validation and error-handling mechanisms.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior developers and team members.
  • Document ETL processes and data integration workflows for future reference and maintenance.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data warehousing and ETL.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of data integration practices and methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Possess a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
  • Demonstrate expertise in PL/SQL and SQL for database management and optimization.
  • Have hands-on experience with Talend ETL and Talend Administration Centre.
  • Show proficiency in Unix Shell Scripting for automation and task management.
  • Exhibit knowledge of scheduling basics for efficient ETL process management.
  • Display excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Maintain effective communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
