Job Description: Safety Officer

Position: Safety Officer

Qualification:

  • B.Sc. / B.Tech in Civil / Electrical / Mechanical
  • Technical Board (Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety / Post Diploma in Industrial Safety)

Experience: 1–2 years in Industrial / Construction / Manufacturing safety

Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month

Job Location: Plot No 107/A Light Industrial Area Bhilai Dist Durg Chhattisgarh

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor workplace health & safety programs as per statutory norms.
  • Conduct daily toolbox talks, site inspections, and risk assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, PPE usage, and company safety standards.
  • Report and investigate incidents, accidents, and near-miss cases.
  • Maintain safety records, permits, and documentation as per ISO / statutory requirements.
  • Provide safety training and awareness to workers and staff.
  • Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and management for safe work practices.
  • Assist in preparing and updating safety policies, procedures, and emergency response plans.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) regulations.
  • Strong observation and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and reporting ability.
  • Ability to handle emergency situations effectively.
  • Familiarity with construction/industrial safety procedures.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30, ₹35,000.00 per month
