Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Full Stack / Backend Developer with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in Core Java, Spring Framework, Microservices, and modern front-end technologies, along with hands-on experience in cloud platforms and DevOps tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
  • Work across the full software development lifecycle, ensuring best practices in TDD/BDD, CI/CD, and version control.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate front-end frameworks (React/Angular) with backend APIs.
  • Implement and optimize data structures, algorithms, and design patterns for performance and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful web services and ensure compliance with secure coding standards.
  • Manage database schemas and queries using RDBMS (DB2, Oracle, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) systems.
  • Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and automated builds.

Technical Skills

Core Competencies

  • Core Java (8+) class loading, garbage collection, collections API, reflections, streams, functional programming
  • Frameworks: Spring, Spring Boot, JSR-303, Logback, JUnit, Apache Commons
  • Architecture: MVC, Microservices, RESTful APIs
  • Design Patterns: Singleton, Factory, Observer, Strategy, etc.
  • Concurrency: Multithreading, caching, recursion

Database

  • Strong: DB2, Oracle, PostgreSQL
  • Good to have: MongoDB, Liquibase

DevOps / Build Tools

  • Version Control: GIT
  • Build & CI/CD: Gradle, Jenkins
  • Testing: JBehave, Cucumber (BDD), JUnit, TDD practices

Frontend Technologies

  • ReactJS, Redux, Angular (integration experience preferred)

Cloud & Workflow

  • Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks
  • Workflow Engines: BPMN, DMN – Camunda 7/8
  • Messaging Frameworks: Kafka, ActiveMQ

Other Skills

  • Knowledge of HTTP, XML, JSON
  • Unix/Linux environment familiarity
