Digital Strategist (Google Ads) India (AU Support)

The Role

Mid-level Google Ads specialist based in India to support our AU team with campaign execution, optimisation, and reporting. You'll work primarily on Australian accounts. Experience with clients billed in USD/AUD/EUR is valued.

What you'll do

  • Build & launch Search, Performance Max, and Display with intent-led structures for AU markets.
  • Optimise weekly: search term mining & negatives, bid strategy tuning (tCPA/tROAS), pacing, audience layering.
  • Bring ideas: propose fresh tactics to lift brand awareness, CTR, CVR, and ROAS; stay across trends and platform updates.
  • Collaborate: assist the Head of Google Ads (Australia) on priorities, QA, and playbooks.
  • Merchant Center & PMax: feed hygiene, rules, custom labels, brand vs non-brand asset groups.
  • Measurement & QA: GA4 conversion validation, GTM tag audits, UTM governance, duplicate-conversion checks.
  • Reporting: daily/weekly insights and monthly decks with clear next actions.
  • Testing: RSAs, audiences, offer/LP alignment; maintain a rolling test calendar with hypotheses & success criteria.
  • Hygiene: naming conventions, change logs, shared negatives, budget trackers.

Must-have experience

  • 2–4 years hands-on Google Ads across multiple accounts; typical monthly budgets 5k–20k+ (USD/AUD/EUR).
  • Proven results on AU/USD/EUR accounts (AU preferred).
  • Solid GA4 + GTM skills and Merchant Center troubleshooting.
  • Advanced Google Sheets/Excel; clear English communication; strong async collaboration with an AU team.

  • Basic paid social (Meta/LinkedIn/TikTok) for remarketing/boosts.
  • Microsoft Ads, Looker Studio/ call tracking
  • CRO/landing-page fundamentals; YouTube action campaigns.
