Welder And Safety Trainer

We are seeking a skilled Welder & Safety Trainer to train, mentor, and guide welding professionals and apprentices. The role requires expertise in various welding techniques, strong knowledge of safety protocols, and the ability to design and deliver effective training programs. The trainer will be responsible for ensuring that trainees develop high-quality welding skills while adhering to occupational health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver classroom and practical training sessions in welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick, Arc, and fabrication techniques).
  • Instruct trainees on blueprint reading, welding symbols, and inspection methods.
  • Provide hands-on demonstrations and supervise practical welding exercises.
  • Develop, update, and implement training curriculum, manuals, and safety guidelines.
  • Train workers on workplace safety practices, hazard identification, PPE usage, and emergency response.
  • Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments during training workshops.
  • Mentor apprentices and junior welders, ensuring skill development and adherence to quality standards.
  • Monitor trainee performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
  • Promote compliance with OSHA, AWS, ASME, ISO, and other relevant safety standards.
  • Maintain welding tools, equipment, and training labs in safe operating condition.
  • Encourage continuous learning, innovation, and adherence to best practices in welding and safety.
  • Communicate fluently in Hindi, understand English, and confidently speak English to ensure clear and effective training delivery.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience as a professional welder and trainer/instructor.
  • Strong knowledge of welding processes, materials, and fabrication techniques.
  • Certified welding inspector/trainer (preferred).
  • In-depth understanding of occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to engage trainees and simplify complex technical concepts.
  • Bilingual ability: Hindi (understanding & speaking) and English (understanding & speaking).
