Job Description:
 

 Job Summary:

The Female Searcher is required to conduct a physical body and bag check of all-female CCN staff as well as visitors entering and leaving an international project based in central Kabul.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:


A search of all local female staff and visitors, including bags and clothing, entering and leaving the project premises in accordance with the local customs and in a professional, consistent, unbiased, friendly, and conscientious manner.

Communicate and interface as appropriate with all-female staff & visitors passing through or using the project premises, communicating any security management decisions, policies, and instructions as directed by the project Risk Manager.

Coordinate with the Risk Manager on any security issues that arise.

Accompany female visitors within the compound when required.

Work closely with other security and risk management department staff both CCN and expatriate.

Assist the guard force with any female security-related issues.

During quieter periods, support the team by performing security administration duties as directed.

Participating in regular search and security-related training.

Support the Risk Manager wherever required with respect to compound access tasks.



Job Requirement:


High school graduates preferred

At least One years' experience working in this field for a similar international organization

Fluent in spoken Dari

Basic English would be beneficial to communicate with expatriate staff

The ability to read and write in English is an advantage to filling in basic access related paperwork

Other Requirements:

Must be able to provide a criminal background check from their local Police District

Must be able to travel into the central diplomatic area of Kabul daily, working within a shift system, either on-site to work from 0700 or late until 1800, Sat- Thu, transport is the responsibility of the applicant

Must be comfortable working in a predominantly male-dominated working environment

The applicant must be willing to be flexible and work outside of the specified hours and days on the odd occasion, outside of regular hours transport can be provided.
