II. JOB PURPOSE

To aid delivery of continuous and quality patient care to patients.

III. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Core Responsibilities

• Out Patient & In-Patient services.
• Aid and support the ongoing Kidney Transplant Program.
• Diagnosing and treating kidney-related illness or disease includes evaluating patients
• Prescribe appropriate medications to treat patients in accordance with standardized procedures and company policy.
• To ensure that all the patients are receiving appropriate Medical care.
• Conduct routine check-up appointments and maintain follow-ups throughout patients care.
• To keep up-breast with the latest technology and innovations in the respective field.
• Perform and document physical examination and history.
• Formulate a differential diagnosis.
• Develops and documents an initial plan of care, modifies daily plan of care, and writes daily progress notes.
• To take care of discharge procedures for patients.
• Follows Hospital policies at all times and seeks and provides inputs, as and when required.
• To participate in review & planning activities relevant to the departmental services at the hospital.
• Actively participate in presentations of CMEs and Journal clubs.
• Supervise direct patient care of mid-levels and other team members involved in the diagnosis and treatment.
• Supervise all nursing/ para medical & nonmedical staff of the department to maintain discipline and a high standard of medical care at the department as per the standard operating procedure.
• Documentation - Proper documentation of all medical records related to

Patients according to quality standards (NABH).

• Manage and maintain all Nephrology patients database and developing best practical protocol for patients benefits
• Teaching and supervising junior doctors and medical students;
• Any other responsibility assigned by the management.
