CEMENT GRINDING INCHARGE

ResponsibilitiesGrinding Operations

• Supervise the operation of vertical roller mills (VRM) or ball mills used for cement grinding.
• Monitor process parameters and ensure optimal mill performance.
• Coordinate raw material feed and clinker blending to meet product specifications.

Production Planning

• Execute daily and shift-wise production plans.
• Ensure achievement of targeted output and quality standards.

Process Optimization

• Analyze grinding efficiency and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with process engineers to reduce power consumption and improve throughput.

Team Management

• Lead a team of operators, shift engineers, and technicians.
• Conduct training and skill development sessions.

Coordination & Compliance

• Liaise with quality control, maintenance, and dispatch teams.
• Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and operational standards.

Qualifications

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Chemical, or Production Engineering

Experience 8–15 years in cement manufacturing, with at least 5 years in grinding operations

Preferred Exposure Hands-on experience with VRM, ball mills, DCS systems, and cement quality control
