Workday Compensation Consultant

Key Duties
- Maintain and update the global career framework in Workday, including job profiles, levels, families, and salary ranges.
- Partner with HR, Compensation, and Talent teams to document and implement new/updated roles.
- Configure, test, and validate changes within Workday Advanced Compensation, including salary structures, merit cycles, bonus plans, and ranges.
- Conduct regular data audits to ensure system integrity and compliance with governance.
- Support reward cycles by preparing, validating, and publishing compensation data.
- Develop and maintain Workday reports and dashboards for career framework and compensation needs.
- Provide consultation on compensation policies, job architecture, and regional requirements for the U.S. and India.
- Collaborate with HRIS colleagues to implement new functionality, system upgrades, and integrations.
- Respond to inquiries on compensation structure and job framework.
Experience
- 4+ years of combined HRIS and compensation experience.
- Minimum 3 years of direct Workday HCM and Advanced Compensation administration/configuration.
- Hands-on experience managing job architecture and compensation structures across global regions, with deep knowledge of the U.S. and India markets. Other global regions a plus.
- Hands-on experience with the system development lifecycle (SDLC), including configuration changes, data validation, and testing (unit, regression, and user acceptance testing) in Workday.
- Proven experience in data auditing, reporting, and analytics within Workday.
- Strong partnering background with global HR, business leaders, and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Expertise in Workday HCM, Workday Advanced Compensation; Workday Pro Certification a plus.
- Strong understanding of job leveling, salary structures, and market data alignment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a global, cross-cultural environment.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
