Target Group: Persons with Disability (Locomotor Disability & Speech & Hearing Impairment)

Compensation: Freelance / Incentive-Based – Up to ₹1000 per candidate enrolled

Role Overview:

We are looking for motivated and socially driven Community Mobilizers on a freelancing (incentive-based) model to support our placement-linked skill development training program for persons with disabilities in Angul District. Mobilizers will be responsible for identifying, motivating, and enrolling eligible candidates with Locomotor Disability and Speech & Hearing Impairment from 8 blocks of the district.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct outreach and awareness drives in villages to identify eligible PwD candidates.
• Approach and counsel candidates and their families about the benefits of the training program.
• Build linkages with local leaders, SHGs, Anganwadi Centers, disability rehabilitation centers, and NGOs for candidate sourcing.
• Support candidates with application/enrollment formalities.
• Achieve agreed enrollment targets within the project timelines.
• Provide regular updates on mobilization progress to the project team.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong communication skills in Odia (Hindi preferred, English basic).
• Good local network and familiarity with rural communities in Angul District.
• Ability to motivate and counsel persons with disabilities and their families.
• Previous experience in community mobilization, NGO work, disability programs, or social projects preferred.
• Self-driven and target-oriented.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 10th Pass (12th pass preferred).
• Local candidates from Angul District will be given preference.
• Experience of working with PwDs will be an added advantage.

Compensation:

• Freelancing / Part-Time Role – No fixed salary.
• Payment on an incentive basis – Up to ₹1000 per candidate enrolled (subject to verification and successful enrollment).

Pay: ₹10, ₹15,000.00 per month
