Profile Summary:

A highly skilled and detail-oriented Manager - Accounts with a CA qualification and a minimum of 5 years of experience in financial reporting, statutory compliance, audits, and MIS preparation. Expertise in financial statement preparation, Ind AS, reconciliation statements, and tax regulations. Proficient in ERP systems and Excel, with a strong understanding of internal controls, financial planning, and automation. Adept at leading teams, ensuring compliance, and implementing process improvements for accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Management & Reporting:

  2. Maintain control over all accounting systems to ensure accurate financial data processing.

  3. Prepare financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow) as per Ind AS and applicable accounting standards.
  4. Conduct financial planning and analysis to support decision-making.

  5. Ensure accurate preparation of various Management Information System (MIS) reports to assist in business planning.

  6. Reconciliation & Analysis:

  7. Prepare and review various reconciliation statements, including:

  8. Inventory

  9. Vendor and Customer Account Reconciliations
  10. GST and Tax Reconciliation

  11. Intercompany Reconciliations

  12. Identify and resolve discrepancies in accounts and financial reports.

  13. Statutory Compliance & Taxation:

  14. Ensure timely adherence to statutory compliances (GST, Income Tax, etc.).

  15. Implement new tax laws and integrate changes into accounting systems.

  16. Maintain accurate records and provide necessary data for audit and scrutiny.

  17. Ind AS Implementation & Compliance:

  18. Ensure the company's financial statements comply with Ind AS and other regulatory requirements.

  19. Keep updated with recent Ind AS amendments and changes and apply them effectively.

  20. Assist in the transition and implementation of new accounting standards.

  21. Audit & Internal Controls:

  22. Develop and implement an internal audit program to ensure operational efficiency.

  23. Manage internal, statutory, and tax audits.

  24. Process Automation & ERP Management:

  25. Leverage ERP systems to automate accounting processes for efficiency.

  26. Ensure seamless integration of Ind AS-compliant financial reporting within ERP.

  27. Team Leadership & Mentorship:

  28. Mentor and guide the accounts team, resolving operational issues.

  29. Ensure team development and continuous improvement in accounting, Ind AS compliance, and MIS reporting.

  30. Regulatory Updates & Compliance Management:

  31. Stay updated on the latest Ind AS changes, tax amendments, and financial regulations.

  32. Ensure proper application of accounting standards and regulatory requirements in financial reporting.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing setup.
  • Expertise in financial statement preparation as per Ind AS and Indian GAAP.
  • Strong knowledge of statutory compliance, tax laws, and financial reporting.
  • Experience in preparing reconciliation statements and MIS reports.
  • Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in audit management, internal controls, and financial planning.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
