About The Role
Reckitt has a Data and Analytics (D&A) focused on leveraging core information assets to better equip markets to improve their decisions and optimize their actions through the use of improved data, insights and advanced analytics The D&A team consists of five (5) key areas of expertise: Platform & Architecture, Data Science, Data Engineering, Data Visualisation, Governance and Strategy & Operations.

Your responsibilities

• Filling the role of a data platform engineer to design and build automation, monitoring, and instrumentation tools to reduce operational friction. As a subject matter expert, mentors and enables product engineering teams in software delivery within data in an agile environment
• Provides leadership to engineering teams by defining and driving standards, utilizing data and related technologies. Development and support for Platform capabilities and accelerators (blueprints)
• Hands-on Azure application design, development, and support (fault-tolerant, disaster recovery, IaaC, etc.)
• Ability to transfer the development flow to the CI / CD pipeline, which may include complex logic (rollbacks, manual steps, triggering other jobs, services, notifications, observability).
• Influences and builds vision with product managers, team members, customers, and other engineering teams to solve complex problems for building enterprise class business applications.
• Holds accountability for the quality, usability, and performance of the platform solutions.
• Build capabilities to implement advanced monitoring & recommendations to enable teams to actively manage their cloud resources & costs.
• Collaborate with the Platform & Data Architects to ensure cohesive integration between systems and data models.
• Play active role in Communities of Practice including capturing and sharing best practices to improve processes within and across teams.
• Build, deploy, and maintain a multi-region, multi-provider data platform emphasizing security and resiliency.
• Develop and maintain solution & services to support our data-driven analytics framework.

The experience we're looking for

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science.
• 5+ years of experience in Cloud DevOps Concepts, Cloud Services and Architecture, and Azure DevOps Operational Framework.
• 3+ years of experience in designing and building solutions for data security (implementing security measures using Azure Key Vault and encryption techniques), data engineering, data quality and observability, metadata management, data lineage, and data discovery.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL, Python & shell scripting (like Azure CLI). Experience with Databricks is a must.
• Deep understanding of core Azure capabilities (APIM, Vnet, etc.)
• Working experience with DevOps and MLOps paradigms.
• Experience with test-driven development & CI/CDs.
• Understanding of data quality & governance principles.
• Strong communication and leadership & collaboration skills.
• Experience measuring, monitoring, and improving platform performance
