Senior Functional Testing Engineer
to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our high-stakes online assessment services. This position is ideal for someone passionate about testing and quality assurance, with deep technical expertise and a proactive approach to improving processes.

Responsibilities

  • Work within an established Agile delivery process, supporting multiple interrelated services to achieve business goals and outcomes
  • Drive improvements in school and learner-facing online assessment services, incorporating customer and service delivery feedback
  • Explore automation opportunities and collaborate with development teams to ensure robust, secure, and scalable end-to-end data flows
  • Support business teams in minimizing administrative workload through automation and enhancing self-service capabilities
  • Conduct functional testing of web/mobile applications, including but not limited to new feature testing, exploratory, regression, database, accessibility, and API testing
  • Facilitate whiteboarding sessions and solution brainstorming workshops with customers and internal teams

Requirements

  • 6-10 years of experience in software testing/software quality assurance
  • Proficiency in Agile SDLC with adaptability and interest in iterative processes
  • Background in requirements analysis and visual design evaluation
  • Capability to design and document formal test cases, with knowledge of test case design techniques
  • Understanding of test case prioritization, DoR, and DoD
  • Competency in reporting and tracking issues with attention to detail
  • Skills in multi-browser testing and using browser extensions
  • Proficiency in SQL queries
  • Proactive approach toward improving quality processes and team outcomes
  • Ability to act as a quality gatekeeper for your delivery team
  • Willingness for continuous self-improvement
  • Solid English communication skills at B2+ level or higher
