The Work You'll Do:

At Sovos, we're seeking an Accountant Level II to join our India office. In this growing role, you'll support our financial operations in India while developing your accounting skills with guidance from experienced team members. This position offers an excellent opportunity to build expertise in accounting practices within a global software company while gaining valuable exposure to NetSuite and international finance operations.

More specifically, you will:

• Process and maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Assist with monthly financial reporting and reconciliations
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Enter and verify financial data in NetSuite and other financial systems
• Prepare and process expense reports and reimbursements
• Help maintain financial records and documentation for audit purposes
• Assist with tax compliance documentation and filings
• Participate in cross-functional projects with the global finance team
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in daily accounting operations

What We Need From You

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2-4 years of accounting experience
• Basic knowledge of NetSuite or similar financial management systems
• Familiarity with Indian accounting principles and tax regulations
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Good communication skills with proficiency in English
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic global organization
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Due to client contractual obligations, the successful candidate will be asked to clear a background check and drug test upon hire
