1. Communication BridgeActs as a liaison between the buyer and the factory. Understands buyer requirements and communicates them to production, design, and sourcing teams. 2. Product DevelopmentCoordinates with the design and sampling teams.

Ensures samples meet buyer specifications in terms of fabric, trims, styling, and fit. Suggests fabric and trim alternatives based on availability and cost. 3. Costing and NegotiationCalculates the cost of the product (fabric, trims, labor, overheads, etc.).

Negotiates with suppliers and vendors to obtain competitive prices. Prepares costing sheets and gets approvals from buyers. 4. Sourcing and ProcurementSources raw materials like fabrics, accessories, and trims.

Ensures timely procurement to avoid production delays. Maintains a database of reliable suppliers and vendors. 5. Production Planning and Follow-up

Creates a production schedule and ensures adherence to deadlines. Follows up with different departments (cutting, stitching, finishing, quality control). Troubleshoots production or quality-related issues.

6. Quality ControlCoordinates with quality control teams. Ensures finished goods meet buyer specifications and quality standards. 7. Documentation and LogisticsPrepares all required documents (purchase orders, invoices, shipping documents).

Ensures timely shipping and delivery of goods. Handles customs clearance and logistics follow-ups. 8. Trend and Market AnalysisKeeps up with fashion trends, textile innovations, and market demands.

Provides input for future product lines based on market research. 9. Post-Delivery Follow-UpEnsures buyer satisfaction after delivery. Gathers feedback and coordinates for replacements or improvements if necessary.
