Roles and Responsibilities
Mindstix is looking for a skilled and driven SEO Specialist to join our team. You are a results-oriented individual who enjoys crafting strategies that improve visibility, boost engagement, and drive meaningful outcomes. You take full ownership of your work, stay up-to-date with industry trends, and thrive in a collaborative, high-performance environment:
- Design and implement impactful SEO strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams to improve search rankings, drive organic traffic, and enhance user engagement.
- Leverage advanced keyword research and competitor analysis to uncover growth opportunities and content gaps.
- Partner with content creators, designers, and developers to ensure SEO best practices are embedded across all digital assets.
- Monitor website performance and key SEO metrics such as CTR, bounce rate, crawl errors, and backlink profiles using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.
- Perform regular technical audits to identify and fix on-page and off-page SEO issues such as broken links, duplicate content, and slow load times.
- Lead initiatives for structured data (schema markup), XML sitemaps, , and mobile-first indexing to optimize technical SEO.
- Build and manage high-quality backlink strategies that strengthen domain authority and support long-term SEO goals.
- Demonstrate a data-first mindset that can interpret performance metrics and deliver clear, actionable reports to stakeholders.
- Stay informed about the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry developments to keep strategies competitive and compliant.
- Contribute actively to team discussions and knowledge sharing to help raise the SEO maturity across the organization.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or related fields.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in SEO strategy and execution.
- In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and best practices.
- Proven track record of improving organic rankings, traffic, and conversions through SEO techniques.
- Proficient in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and Moz.
- Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and website architecture from an SEO perspective.
- Ability to analyze performance metrics (CTR, bounce rate, backlinks, etc.) and derive actionable insights.
- Knowledge of schema markup, sitemaps, , mobile-first indexing, and page speed optimization.
- Bonus: Exposure to local SEO, international SEO, and video SEO strategies.
- Preferred: Certifications in SEO or Digital Marketing (e.g., Google, HubSpot, Moz).
- Good to have: Experience in eCommerce environments with strong domain knowledge of digital retail, including SEO best practices across product catalogs, faceted navigation, conversion funnels, site architecture, and platform-specific considerations.
