Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced
SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning Consultant
with proven leadership capabilities to lead and manage SAC Planning projects. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAC Planning functionalities, integrated planning scenarios, and strong functional understanding of finance processes. The role requires the ability to guide a team, interact with business stakeholders, and drive planning solution implementations from end to end.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of SAC Planning solutions aligned with business goals.
  • Work closely with finance and business teams to gather and analyze planning requirements.
  • Develop data models, input templates, planning stories, allocations, and calculations in SAC.
  • Integrate SAC Planning with SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, or other data sources.
  • Design and implement predictive planning models using advanced analytics capabilities.
  • Lead project planning, effort estimation, deliverables, and resource management.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior consultants in the team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including SAP Functional, Analytics, and Basis teams.
  • Conduct user training, create documentation, and support UAT & go-live activities.
  • Ensure planning models are scalable, optimized, and in line with best practices.
  • Maintain and enhance existing SAC Planning models based on business changes.

Required Skills And Experience

  • 7+ years of total SAP experience with 3+ years in SAP SAC Planning.
  • Proven experience in leading SAC Planning implementations.
  • Strong knowledge of Integrated Financial Planning (IFP), Budgeting, Forecasting, and Variance Analysis.
  • Deep understanding of SAC Planning functions: Value Driver Tree, Allocations, Advanced Formulas, Versions, Data Actions, and Predictive Features.
  • Experience in data integration with SAP BW, S/4HANA, and external data sources.
  • Solid experience in story building, input forms, advanced scripting, and security configuration in SAC.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience working in Agile methodology and managing deliverables across sprints.
  • Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP SAC Planning certification (preferred)
  • Experience with Group Reporting, BPC, or IBP is a plus
  • Knowledge of SAP Datasphere / SAP Analytics Hub is an advantage
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related fields
