Roles & Responsibilities – New Business Development (NBD)

Identify and develop new customer opportunities through market research, leads, and referrals.

Support the team in new customer onboarding and initial business discussions.

Conduct customer visits along with seniors or independently, as assigned, to understand requirements and present company offerings.

Collect, update, and maintain customer and lead data in CRM / Excel / internal systems accurately.

Coordinate with internal teams (sales, production, technical, marketing) for quotations, samples, and follow-ups.

Ensure regular communication with prospective and existing customers via email, phone calls, and meetings.

Prepare and share visit reports, follow-up notes, and customer feedback with the reporting manager.

Track inquiries, proposals, and negotiations to support conversion of leads into customers.

Assist in preparing presentations, company profiles, and product information for customer interactions.

Monitor competitor activity and market trends to support business development strategies.

Maintain professional relationships and ensure timely follow-ups to build long-term customer trust.

Adhere to company policies, reporting structures, and ethical business practices.
