Software Development Intern (Full-Time, Onsite – Kerala Startup Mission)

Location:
Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM), Kochi

Duration:
6 months internship (with possibility of full-time offer)

Stipend:
₹0 – ₹20,000 / month (based on prior experience & performance)

About the Role

We're looking for
motivated, full-time interns
who are passionate about building software and want hands-on experience working in a real startup environment.

If you've done projects during college, enjoy solving problems, and are eager to learn new technologies, this role is for you.

Preferred Skills

  • Basic understanding of
    programming fundamentals
    and ability to learn new frameworks quickly
  • Experience with
    Flutter
    (mobile/web) or
    /
    (web) is
    a plus
    , but
    not mandatory
  • Familiarity with Git/version control
  • Strong problem-solving attitude and eagerness to take initiative
  • Ability to adapt and work independently in a fast-paced team environment

Internship Structure

  • Month 1:
    Assessment Period
  • Evaluate technical skills, discipline, and ability to learn
  • Stipend applicable only if retained after this assessment
  • Month 3 & 6:
    Performance reviews to decide continuation or possible full-time conversion
  • After 6 Months:
    Internship may convert to a
    permanent role
    based on performance and company requirements

Work Mode

  • Onsite only
    – Kerala Startup Mission, Kochi
  • Work closely with the core product and engineering team
  • Get exposure to real-world product development, debugging, and deployment workflows

Stipend

  • ₹0 – ₹20,000 / month (based on prior project experience and skill level)
  • Paid after successful completion of assessment milestones
