Job Description:

We have an urgent opening for the position of Instrumentation Engineer for a leading producer of specialty chemicals  for Ambernath location.

Job Description:

  1. Should have knowledge of Scada / PLC based operation
  2. Should have experience in process automation
  3. Would be responsible to support the production team with minimum B/D time
  4. Designing & developing new control systems
  5. Testing, maintaining & modifying existing systems
  6. Identifying & fixing of B/D faults of equipment by repairing / replacement within time frame
  7. Preventing maintenance of PLC, regulatory requirements, instrumentation, calibration, trouble shooting
  8. Monitoring & attending to instrument trouble shooting problems & operations of instrumentation systems of the plant for production purpose
  9. Carrying out any plant modification, project jobs
  10. Cabling & wiring of all instrument systems
  11. Identifying faulty components & making requisitions for replacement
  12. Inspection of incoming instrument department materials to the factory as per the specifications
  13. Maintaining instrumentation spares & consumables items
  14. Reducing instrumentation repair maintenance cost
  15. Should have good in good management, organizational & communication skills
  16. Should have experience in preparation of specification sheets for all instrumentation procurement
  17. Should have good in coordination with vendors for AMC of instrumentation systems like weighing systems, UPS, lab equipment's, gauges etc.
  18. Should have experience for various field equipment's like all type of flow meters, valves, level transmitters, load cell systems, pressure transmitter, mass flow meters, VFD configuration, Validation of systems etc.

Candidate Should be:

  1. Diploma / B.E. Instrumentation from recognised institute / university
  2. Minimum 3 to 5 year of core experience for chemical manufacturing industry or pharma API industry.
  3. Should be able to lead the team
  4. Excellent communication skill
  5. Should have good interpersonal relationship skills and be able to lead his/her own team and work in coordination with other department functionaries

Candidate preferred from Ambarnath/Badlapur/Kalyan area only.

  • Ready to work in shifts.
  • Candidates versed will local language will be preferred.
  • Candidates with Chemical & API Pharma Plant experience only need to apply
