Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative
Content Writer with strong SEO knowledge
to develop compelling and optimized content for our e-commerce platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in writing product-focused content that improves rankings, engagement, and conversions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct keyword research using tools such as Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Ubersuggest, etc.
  • Write SEO-friendly
    product descriptions, category pages, landing pages, and blogs
    .
  • Create clear, accurate, engaging content aligned with the brand voice and audience intent.
  • Implement SEO best practices including
    on-page optimization, internal linking, meta tags, and schema-based content
    .
  • Optimize existing content to improve
    ranking, CTR, engagement, and conversion rates
    .
  • Perform competitor analysis to identify ranking opportunities and content gaps.
  • Collaborate with
    design, SEO, and product teams
    to enhance overall content performance.
  • Track content performance metrics (traffic, ranking, engagement) and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain brand tone consistency and clarity across all e-commerce content.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical & Content Skills

  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and search intent.
  • Hands-on experience writing e-commerce content (product & category pages).
  • Ability to write clear, concise, and conversion-centric copy.
  • Knowledge of on-page SEO elements (H1/H2 structure, meta descriptions, ALT tags, schema, etc.).
  • Excellent command of grammar, vocabulary, and storytelling.
  • Ability to adapt writing style based on product type and audience.
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms (Shopify / Magento / WordPress / similar).

Research & Analytical Skills

  • Ability to conduct keyword research and competitor content analysis.
  • Understanding of buyer psychology and identifying product USPs.
  • Ability to analyze performance data and provide improvement suggestions.

Tools Knowledge (Preferred)

  • Google Search Console & Google Analytics
  • Ahrefs / SEMrush / Ubersuggest
  • Yoast / RankMath / SurferSEO or similar tools
  • MS Excel / Google Sheets
