About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled
Django Developer
with 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience to join our dynamic team for a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in building and optimizing backend systems and RESTful APIs, along with a strong grasp of performance tuning and system scalability.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and optimize backend applications using
Django
and
Django REST Framework (DRF)
.
Design and implement
RESTful APIs
that are robust, efficient, and scalable.
Collaborate closely with frontend developers and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Optimize application performance and troubleshoot bottlenecks.
Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following best practices.
Work in a
fast-paced environment
and deliver results within tight deadlines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
4–5 years
of professional experience in
Django
and
Django REST Framework (DRF)
.
Proven experience in
API design, development, and optimization
.
Strong understanding of
database design
,
ORM
, and
query optimization
(PostgreSQL preferred).
Solid grasp of
performance tuning
,
caching
, and
asynchronous processing
.
Familiarity with
Docker
,
Git
, and
CI/CD pipelines
is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
