Specialist- Financial Reporting

We are seeking a dynamic Chartered Accountant to join our finance team as a Specialist Financial Reporting. The ideal candidate will bring strong academic and practical grounding from articleship, with exposure to statutory audits, IND AS, and IFRS. This role involves handling statutory compliance, audits, forecasting, and financial reporting while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to regulatory requirements.

1. Audit and Insurance:

• Assist in statutory audits, tax audits, internal audits, and group reporting requirements.
• Prepare audit schedules and coordinate with auditors to ensure timely completion.
• Support in preparation of financial statements under IGAAP and IFRS.
• Ensure audit observations and recommendations are implemented.

• Ensure strict adherence to statutory requirements including GST, TDS, and Income Tax.
• Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual GST and TDS returns.
• Support Income Tax filings, Transfer Pricing documentation, and liaise with consultants for smooth execution.

• Prepare and present MIS reports with analysis of key variances and trends.
• Assist in financial forecasting and variance analysis to support decision-making.
• Provide insights into financial performance and compliance status to senior management.
• Assist in preparation of board and management-level financial reports.

• Maintain comprehensive and organized documentation for all financial transactions, payments, and compliance-related activities.
• Ensure the proper and secure record-keeping of all financial and statutory documents in both physical and digital formats.

5. Books Closure: 

• Drive monthly and annual book closure processes, ensuring reconciliations, schedules, and finalization are completed on time.

Qualifications

• Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) Fresher with strong articleship experience / up to 1 year PQE.
• Technical Exposure: Statutory audits, IGAAP, IFRS, GST, TDS, Income Tax.
• Tools: Proficiency in Tally and advanced MS Excel; exposure to ERP systems preferred.
• Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
