Job Summary

The Quality Control/Assurance Officer will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the company's quality and safety standards before reaching the market. The role involves implementing quality assurance processes, conducting inspections, monitoring food safety protocols, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems for dry fruits, spices, and grocery provisions.
  • Monitor production and packaging processes to ensure adherence to quality and hygiene standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections, sampling, and laboratory testing of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, ISO, and other food safety regulations.
  • Document and maintain records of inspections, testing, and quality audits.
  • Identify quality issues, investigate root causes, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Train and guide staff on good manufacturing practices (GMP), hygiene standards, and food safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to ensure supplier quality compliance.
  • Prepare quality reports for management review and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Ability to identify and resolve quality issues quickly.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in quality control/assurance in food processing, FMCG, or related industry.
  • Familiarity with dry fruits, spices, or grocery product handling is an added advantage.
