Job Title: Travel Alliance / Partner Management Manager
Location: Pune
Department: Business Development / Partnerships
Reports To: Director Global Sales
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Travel Alliance / Partner Management Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for identifying, establishing, and managing strategic alliances and partnerships within the travel industry to enhance business growth, maximize market reach, and deliver value to customers. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving collaboration between external partners and internal teams to achieve shared business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Partnership Strategy Development:
Identify and establish strategic alliances and partnerships with key players in the travel industry (e.g., Regional Travel Management Companies Globally).
Develop and execute a partnership strategy to drive business growth, enhance market share, and foster long-term relationships.
Partner Relationship Management:
Act as the main point of contact for all partner communications, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and engagement.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with existing partners, ensuring a high level of cooperation and mutual benefit.
Address and resolve any partner-related issues or concerns promptly to maintain trust and collaboration.
Business Development & Expansion:
Explore new business opportunities with potential travel Management industry partners and evaluate the feasibility of new alliances.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, operations, product development) to ensure the successful integration of partner solutions and joint offerings.
Contract Negotiation & Management:
Lead the negotiation of partnership contracts and agreements, ensuring they align with the companys strategic goals.
Monitor and ensure compliance with the terms of partnership agreements, including performance metrics and KPIs.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
Track, analyse, and report on the performance of partnerships, including revenue growth, customer acquisition, and engagement metrics.
Provide regular reports and recommendations to senior leadership on partnership success, areas for improvement, and future opportunities.
Market Insights & Trend Analysis:
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to inform partnership decisions.
- Identify emerging opportunities and threats within the travel industry to keep the company ahead of the competition.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field. A Masters degree is a plus.
Experience:
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in partnership management, business development, or a similar role within the travel or hospitality industry.
- Proven track record of building successful partnerships, driving growth, and managing relationships with key stakeholders.
Experience in contract negotiation, strategic planning, and performance management.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work with data to make informed decisions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), CRM systems, and partnership management tools.
Travel Requirements:
Willingness to travel as needed for partner meetings, industry events, and conferences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with global or regional travel partners.
- Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and tools in the travel industry.
- Knowledge of the latest travel technology trends and innovations.
