HMC Operator (Horizontal Machining Center)Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced HMC Operator to operate and maintain Horizontal Machining Center machines to produce precision components as per engineering drawings and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate HMC machines for machining components accurately
  • Read and understand engineering drawings and process sheets
  • Load and unload components using fixtures, pallets, or cranes
  • Set tools, offsets, and monitor machining operations
  • Perform in-process inspection using measuring instruments
  • Ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish
  • Detect and correct minor machining issues
  • Maintain machine cleanliness and carry out basic maintenance
  • Follow safety, quality, and production guidelines

Qualifications & Experience:

  • ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or relevant trade
  • 1–5 years of experience as an HMC Operator
  • Knowledge of CNC controls (Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi)
  • Experience with pallet changers and multi-face machining preferred
  • Familiarity with cutting tools and tooling systems

Required Skills:

  • HMC machine operation
  • Drawing reading
  • Measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge)
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving
  • Ability to work in shifts

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹8, ₹35,116.52 per month
