Currently we are looking for the position of Software Architect 3 (DICOM, C++)

The Software Architect 3 is a technical leader accountable for ensuring the technical designs for the software components in scope are fit for purpose documented and align with product roadmap business goals and technology strategy. This position is accountable for a smaller set of components than a software architect 4.

Responsibilities:

Work within our Acuo Core VNA team as a Senior Software Developer/Architect, focusing on moving the product forward through refactoring and modernization, including the following:

• VNA functionality and workflow optimizations for cloud deployments.
• Implementation of RESTful web services.
• Architect new components. Re-architect existing components as needed.
• Enhancing the supportability, security, usability, and performance of the
  
  software.
• Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland's Information Systems Security Policy

Basic Qualifications:

• DICOM Standard (Required)
  
   In-depth knowledge of the DICOM Standard, including the following: multiframe
  
  image encoding, pixel data and tag data structures, and tag
  
  management.
  
   Compression techniques (e.g. JPEG, JPEG 2000, RLE), for efficient storage,
  
  transmission and workflow interoperability of DICOM images.
  
   DICOM Toolkit Development: Experience building or maintaining C++
  
  libraries for DICOM processing, including parsing, encoding, decoding and
  
  compression.
• Healthcare Enterprise Workflow, Components and Standards (required)
  
   Experience working with healthcare enterprise workflow components,
  
  standards, or integration initiatives. For example, familiarity with PACS/VNA
  
  systems, similar platforms, or integration standards/profiles such as IHE,
  
  XDS, and HL7.
• Microsoft C++ Development (required): Including memory management, concurrency
  
  and multi-threading.
• Microsoft .NET Development (required)
• Web services\RESTful service implementation and design (required)
• Unit testing development (required)
• Amazon Web Services or cloud technologies (strong knowledge)
• SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL (strong knowledge)
• Familiarity with large capacity storage systems and Cloud storage environments (strong
  
  knowledge)
• Cloud development, for example AWS and/or Azure (nice to have)
