Role Overview:

We are seeking a Bangalore-based Reconciliation Specialist to execute and manage vendor account reconciliations using our in-house platform, ARP . This is a client-facing role involving frequent travel within Bangalore to engage directly with client finance teams. Fluency in Kannada is essential for effective communication and successful resolution of discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct accurate and timely reconciliations using the ARP platform.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve financial discrepancies between client and vendor records.
  • Regularly visit client offices across Bangalore to support reconciliation activities and provide hands-on assistance.
  • Collaborate with internal product and support teams to communicate client feedback and suggest improvements.
  • Maintain proper documentation of reconciliation processes and outcomes.
  • Collaborate effectively with other accountants to resolve disputes and discrepancies within financial records.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems such as Tally, SAP, or similar platforms to streamline and enhance reconciliation processes.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with team members regarding reconciliation status and findings.
  • Deliver the reconciled outputs in a time-bound manner.
  • Apply logical reasoning and analytical skills to identify and address reconciliation issues promptly.
  • Continuously improve reconciliation processes and recommend enhancements to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
  • Uphold the values of speaking up about problems or challenges, achieving tasks promptly, and maintaining an optimistic and persevering attitude.

Professional Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in financial reconciliation, preferably in a finance department or CA/audit firm.
  • Working knowledge of ERPs such as Tally, SAP , or similar systems.
  • Solid grounding in accounting and financial reporting principles.
  • Experience in resolving disputes and working cross-functionally with accountants and finance teams.
  • Exposure to finance operations in mid-sized enterprises is preferred.

Required Skills:

  • Fluency in Kannada is mandatory .
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel .
  • Strong logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially in client-facing scenarios.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Bangalore to client locations.
