Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage our financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support the financial health of the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and assisting with budgeting and financial planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with local tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements
  • Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting
  • Perform periodic audits to ensure data accuracy and process compliance
  • Maintain general ledger entries and account reconciliations
  • Support external auditors during financial audits
  • Monitor and control company expenditures and implement cost-saving measures
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes and reporting systems

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Professional accounting certification (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA) preferred
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, Data Care) and MS Excel
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
