We are looking for an experienced and insightful Business Analyst
(Domain-Life Insurance)
to lead the analysis, design, and implementation of strategic business initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, using data-driven approaches to drive process improvement, innovation, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

A. Gather, analyse, and document complex business requirements from stakeholders.

B. Translate business needs into functional and non-functional specifications.

C. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, operations, and QA.

D. Design business process workflows, use cases, and data models.

E. Lead workshops and meetings to elicit requirements and align priorities.

F. Conduct impact analysis, feasibility studies, and gap assessments.

G. Support user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and implementation activities.

H. Identify areas for improvement in current business processes and recommend solutions.

I. Prepare dashboards, reports, and presentations for leadership decision-making.

Primary Skills Mandatory Skills:

  1. Strong communication, documentation, and presentation skills.

  2. Life Insurance, Life Asia tool, Day 2 activities, Involved in Production environment, Value calculation.

  3. Strong expertise in requirement gathering, business process modelling, and gap analysis.

  4. Proficiency in SQL, MS Excel, and data interpretation techniques.

  5. Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools.

  6. Testing methodologies: Knowledge of testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

  7. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.

  8. Life insurance products: Familiarity with life insurance products (e.g., term life, whole life).

  9. Underwriting: Knowledge of underwriting processes and principles.

  10. Policy administration: Understanding of policy administration systems and processes.

  11. Claims processing: Familiarity with claims processing procedures.

  12. Regulatory requirements: Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, SOX).

Good to have skills:

  1. Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.

  2. Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems like SAP, Oracle, or Salesforce.

  3. Understanding of UML, BPMN, or data flow diagrams.

  4. Testing tools: Familiarity with testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium).

  5. Domain expertise in sectors like banking, healthcare, retail, telecom, or e-commerce. Knowledge of API integration and working alongside software development teams.
